Monthly Bible Reading Plan - March
After months of being silent, I am ready to break free from the lies of the enemy. I may have forgotten who I was, but sweet Jesus, He helped me to remember WHOSE I am. I am marked, set apart and set free. I am chosen, a soldier in the army of God and a child of the Most High.
For those of you who the enemy has attacked in order to keep you silent, it is time to rise and take your place. It is time to step into your calling. With that being said, I am thankful and excited to announce our brand new undertaking, monthly Bible reading plans! Most of what I will be sharing was birthed during the past few months, when I was MIA; what God has done in my life and all that He has poured into me.
Since I know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose, I know that no matter what the enemy throws at me, God has allowed it. It is not popular preaching, or teaching, for that matter, but it's true. Luckily, I understand now why that doubt was allowed...He allowed it in order to break me free and provide for me a boldness & light that will never be snuffed out. He allowed it in order to get glory for the boldness and courage that I could only get from God.
It is my prayer that these monthly Bible readings will serve as an encouraging and safe place for you to go to hear from God; that while reading and spending time with the Lord, the Holy Spirit will minister to you in ways I never could and say what I could never say, and bring peace and comfort like only He can. You will find that this blog is updated weekly with new shareable graphics and insight to go along with the reading each day. It is our hope that you would follow along on Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest, however, we do understand that not everyone is on social media and wanted to make this available for anyone and everyone. As the month moves on, you will see this blog post begin to grow.
Our theme for March is the healing power of Christ. Join along on our journey below.
March 1
Daily Reading: Mark 7:32-37
A deaf man with a speech impediment was brought to him, and the people begged Jesus to lay his hands on the man to heal him. Jesus led him away from the crowd so they could be alone. He put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then, spitting on his own fingers, he touched the man’s tongue. Looking up to heaven, he sighed and said, “Ephphatha,” which means, “Be opened!” Instantly the man could hear perfectly, and his tongue was freed so he could speak plainly! Jesus told the crowd not to tell anyone, but the more he told them not to, the more they spread the news. They were completely amazed and said again and again, “Everything he does is wonderful. He even makes the deaf to hear and gives speech to those who cannot speak.”
Insight: I just love the response of the witnesses, "Everything he does is wonderful." As I look back over my life, I think about many different events and can say with certainty, even concerning the darkest of times, that EVERYTHING He does is wonderful. He is sovereign & filmed with mercy. His love knows no bounds. He is Almighty and His strength is our joy. Whether you are on the mountain top, or in the valley, let His love wash over you and bring healing to you today. It is our prayer that you would feel his strength & joy today. 💜
March 2
Daily Reading: Isaiah 53:5 NKJV
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
Insight: "...By His stripes, we are healed!" Some of you need to begin to speak this verse over your situation. You need to have faith that even though the healing isn't here yet, it doesn't mean it isn't coming.
God's got you!
Before you were formed in your mother's womb, He knew you'd be right here, right now, needing this word and He sent me to tell you to HOLD ON! Hold on to Jesus. Let Him be the one to minister to you in this moment.
What is it you are believing for? Cancer is GONE in the name of Jesus! Pain is removed in the name of Jesus! Fear is dispelled in the name of Jesus! Doubt is destroyed in the name of Jesus.
Over and over again Jesus is quoted as saying, "your faith has healed you." Do you believe He will do it? Then go ahead and thank Him, because it's already done! ❤🙌
March 3
Daily Reading: James 5:15
Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.
Insight: Did you know that healing is mentioned 89 times in the Bible? It amazes me how often Jesus had compassion and healed those who were sick or weary. The verse today says "...a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well." Are you faithful? Do you believe the Lord will keep His word? If He's told you that you will be healed, are you standing on that?
Trust me, it's not easy to stand on what God has told you when everything in the natural goes against it. God warned me a week before my husband was fighting for his life last year that we were going to walk through that, and that if I trusted Him, everything would be ok. And when my husband was is the hospital fighting for his life, and there was setback after setback, doubt began to creep in, But God...I pushed through that doubt, spoke life over him, laid hands on him and prayed nearly constantly. Praise God, Jesus answered and brought miraculous healing!
But we aren't the only one with this type of testimony. There are many who have come before us that are spoken of in the Bible that have had to do the same (have faith and trust the Lord whether it makes sense or not); Abraham, Noah, Joseph, & Job just to name a few.
Be encouraged today and take heart, for your faithful prayer will be answered and not only can you be healed, but you can be forgiven for your sins as well! 💕
March 4
Daily Reading: Peter 2:24
He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed. 1
Insight: Many people wear a cross around their neck. I am one of those people. However, until recently, after God revealed some things to me, I was not aware of JUST what the cross represented.
Of course I understood that it symbolized my freedom through my faith in Christ and the pain and agony he went through to save me, but the political agenda that it also represented to the religious elect and Roman elite (Ponchas Pilate) at that time was foreign to me.
Many people are unaware that Pilate was given the opportunity to repent (the same opportunity afforded to the thieves that were on each side of Jesus as he hung on the cross). His wife even tried to warn him due to a dream she had. To the Roman government, Pilate was one mistake away from losing everything. He had to keep the people in order and had he accepted Christ, he may have lost it all and caused political turmoil. All of this set the scene for the greatest love story ever told.
While Pilate tried to blame the people, telling them Christ’s blood was on their hands, we all know he had the final say as to who would be executed. He caved to the popularity of the people rather than the wisdom of his wife and his own moral values (what little he had).
But God…He had bigger plans…
In his infinite wisdom, He used the hardened heart of a man to fulfill His master plan and give each and every single one of us the opportunity to be saved.
The cross was gruesome. It was brutal. It was degrading. And Jesus chose to take every single one of our sins there to that cross with him. Not because we deserve it, but because He loves each and every one of us THAT much.
If you haven’t come to know Christ as your Lord and Savior, He’s waiting. He died so that you could experience freedom, healing, joy & a peace that passes all understanding. If you have a relationship with Christ, it’s time to go deeper.
It is my prayer today that God would do a new work in each and every one of us. It is my prayer that you would feel that love of the Father today and always. It is my prayer that if you are in need of healing, Christ would meet you right where you are and that by his stripes, you may be healed.
March 5
Daily Reading: Psalms 147:3
He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.
Insight: Every single one of us will be broken hearted at some point or another. Mothers & fathers who have lost a precious child, children who have lost a parent, friends missing their bestie, widows and widowers who struggle with loneliness, divorce…we all experience it in one way or another.
But God…He is always there.
Can I be the one to tell you that there is someone who catches every tear and offers hope and peace to those struggling with broken hearts today?
Jesus cares, even when it seems like no one else cares, Jesus is always willing to be near you. He actually draws NEARER to those who are broken hearted. He bandages their wounds and brings healing.
Be encouraged today. Though it is dark and there is sadness, it is for but a season. Jesus loves you, and he IS healing your broken heart!
March 6
Daily Reading: Matthew 4:23
Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness.
Insight: The Bible says Jesus healed EVERY kind of disease. It was actually difficult for me to wrap my mind around this when I first read it.
Every kind…
That means cancer, alzheimer’s, diabetes, bipolar disorder, epilepsy, schizophrenia, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, heart disease and EVERY other one I have not named. NONE of those have anything on Jesus! He healed them all!
March 7
Daily Reading: Proverbs 3:7-8
Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.
Insight: I thought it necessary to include the previous verse as well as the verse concerning healing. In this instance, there was something we as followers of Christ must do to obtain healing, and that is that we have to both fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
What does that mean?
It means that once you give your life to Christ, you don’t keep on living the same way. You surrender to His laws that you can read about in His book. It means that you put God’s word over what you think you know. No matter how many degrees you have, how many years you went to school, how high your IQ, God will ALWAYS be wiser. Always! He gave us a manual for living right and if we want healing, we need to be living by it!
March 8
Daily Reading: Luke 6:17-19
When they came down from the mountain, the disciples stood with Jesus on a large, level area, surrounded by many of his followers and by the crowds. There were people from all over Judea and from Jerusalem and from as far north as the seacoasts of Tyre and Sidon. They had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and those troubled by evil spirits were healed. Everyone tried to touch him, because healing power went out from him, and he healed everyone.
Insight: So many points in these three verses…
- “There were people from all over Judea and from Jerusalem and from as far north as the seacoasts of Tyre and Sidon.”
- “They had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases...”
- “Everyone tried to touch him, because healing power went out from him, and he healed everyone.”
I want you to think about how many people must have been in this location. Have you ever seen how vast a valley is?
Follow me on the tangent for a moment…
When my husband and I honeymooned in Loveland, CO, right outside of the Rocky Mountain National Park, I was able to see mountains and valleys from a different perspective. It is one thing to see pictures, but when you are standing in a clearing at the foot of a mountain, you see that it’s quite vast. In the distance, when looking at a mountain range, the valley looks almost insignificant, however, as you inch closer to the actual mountain, you see the vast clearings of the valley in a more spectacular light.
If the same crowd spoken of here was similar to the one that he fed with a couple fish and a few loaves of bread, then this crowd of 5,000 men (if you will), would be equivalent to about 25,000 people with the women and children.
And Jesus healed EVERYONE. Every…single…one…
Are you worried that your healing isn’t coming because it hasn’t yet? Hold on my friend! God is making a way and don’t forget…Jesus is known for healing EVERYONE!
March 9
Daily Reading: Psalms 103:3-5
He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!
Insight: Not only is Jesus our healer, but he is truly our deliverer. I love how the psalmist put it, “He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies.”
For years I carried my past around like a burden. Kind of like a boulder on my shoulders. I could feel it there, but it was invisible to others. The enemy loved to throw it in my face and since I was still carrying it around, I was looking backward instead of enjoying the gift of the present. Fortunately, I was freed and able to finally lay it all down at the feet of Jesus.
Our God is merciful! Quit beating yourself up because you aren’t perfect. He never asked you to be perfect. He asked you to be obedient! ßThis nugget God gave me is what I like to pull out on the enemy when he tries to bring up my past. Then, I affirm that I am chosen, set apart and marked. That I have a kingdom assignment and nothing will distract me from the work God has called me to.
For any who are struggling with you past, it’s time to lay it all down and let Jesus heal your body, mind and soul!
March 10
Daily Reading: Proverbs 4:20-22
My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body.
Insight: Did you catch that? This verse is basically saying that God’s word brings healing. That if you allow His word to penetrate your heart, those words are actually life-giving. Think about it, God spoke EVERYTHING into existence. Everything we see us is because of the word of God. If He can create the universe by speaking? What can God’s word do to our spirit, mind, body and soul?
Memorizing scripture has always been something I struggled with. I can remember the verse itself, but not where to find it, or…I can remember where to find it, but not the actual verse.
Thankfully I know The One who able and the more I prayed and made even more of an effort to remember God’s word, the easier it has become. If you struggle with this as well, lean into Jesus. He’s always there to offer hope and give us strength.
Day 11
Daily Reading: Malachi 4:2
“But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.
Insight: Foreshadowing Christ’s power and ministry in the Old Testament, Malachi is speaking about Jesus as if he is the actual Sun. I find this interest for many reasons, but I am going to only include a few
- The Sun is the center of the solar system. Just as Jesus should be the center of our lives.
- The Sun is responsible for all life on this planet. Without the Sun there would be no life. We have eternal life through God’s son Jesus. Without out him, we would all surely be drowning in sin.
- “…will rise with healing in his wings.” Paints a picture of Jesus’ resurrection and the healing we all receive because of it. It can also represent the physical healing that took place before his death and foreshadow his resurrection.
- “…leaping with joy…” I believe this is a reference to the joy you can only receive through the fruit of the Spirit, the Holy Spirit we receive only after we accept Christ as the Son of God and our personal Savior.
So this one verse explains multiple parts of Christ’s ministry. For those who argue that The Bible was written by man, I hate to burst your bubble, but only God could give a man like Malachi two sentences that actually represent even more than I have mentioned.
Day 12
Daily Reading: Matthew 8:7-11
Jesus said, “I will come and heal him.” But the officer said, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come into my home. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed. I know this because I am under the authority of my superior officers, and I have authority over my soldiers. I only need to say, ‘Go,’ and they go, or ‘Come,’ and they come. And if I say to my slaves, ‘Do this,’ they do it.” When Jesus heard this, he was amazed. Turning to those who were following him, he said, “I tell you the truth, I haven’t seen faith like this in all Israel! And I tell you this, that many Gentiles will come from all over the world—from east and west—and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the feast in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Insight: Now, THAT’S faith! The officer said, “just say the word from where you are…” How many of us believe that Jesus can heal from where he is? That he simply need to give the word? Our God is POWERFUL! He can do whatever He wants, but you know what He loves to do...the absolute best for us! Now, that doesn’t always look like what we think it should, or what we thought it would, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t what is best.
Can I be honest? That’s not what stuck out to me most in this scripture to me. What captured me was the promise that I will be able to feast with Abraham, Isaac & Jacob! Did you catch that? “And I tell you this, that many Gentiles will come from all over the world—from east and west—and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the feast in the Kingdom of Heaven.” We have been grafted into God’s family! That means we get to feast in Heaven with them, we get the Holy Spirit, we get the peace that surpasses all understanding, we get self control, we get healing & we get to live eternally in our Lord’s presence!
I don’t know about you, but this gets me excited this morning!
Day 13
Daily Reading: James 5:16
Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
Insight: We need each other. Contrary to what the world says, we are better when we are working together. See, the world will tell you that you have to depend on yourself, that you can’t trust others or that they will just hurt you. But do you see what the Bible says? It says that when we confess to each other and pray for one another that we can become more powerful and produce wonderful results!
Can I ask that you all pray for me? It is not easy being a servant of God. There are many struggles I face. My own insecurity, doubt, and fear tend to get the best of me. If I’m being honest, my mind has always been the biggest battle ground in my life. Luckily, I have Christ and he gives me strength to dust the dirt off myself, get back up, and keep moving forward. Our God is greater than anything this world or the enemy can throw at us and it’s time we pray and face our battles together!
What is it you are need of? What is one word that I can pray over you this week?
Day 14
Daily Reading: Proverbs 12:18
Some people make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise bring healing.
Insight: This entire chapter of Proverbs is focusing on the benefits and blessings of wisdom; and in typical Proverbs fashion, it counters with what ignorance, deceit, foolishness and wickedness bring as well.
I have heard many times that the power of life and death is in the tongue, and while I understood that, this verse helped that to come to life in my spirit. We have the ability to bring healing simply by speaking life and wisdom into the lives of others!
Maybe, instead of bashing that coworker that is always mean to you, or that person who makes every attempt to cut you down rather than lift you up, we could pray for them? Maybe, just maybe, we could pray that God could both soften and heal their heart; that He would give us wisdom to speak into their life and light up the darkness that plagues them. Maybe, just maybe, we could heal the broken. But first, we have to be willing to simply speak wisdom and healing over them.
This is not an easy task, especially if it’s someone who has been very mean or indignant towards us, but maybe, just maybe, we could make a difference if we helped one another. After all, it’s not about us...it’s about that one lost sheep. They deserve healing just as much as any of us do.
If you find it difficult (as I have), ask Jesus for strength and help. His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). ❤️🙌
Day 15
Daily Reading: 1 Corinthians 12:9
The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of healing.
Insight: Many of us have the gift of healing within us! How exciting is it to know that? I think that’s pretty awesome! But seriously, how many of us believe that God could use us to heal others? 🙋♀️
For many years, I carried shame and thought I had nothing to offer God, that He could never use me, but that’s a lie from the enemy. Someone else needs to hear and understand this. You don’t have to keep carrying that (or picking it up). God has forgiven you and wants to use you!
Maybe it’s you, maybe you’re the one He's given healing power to. Maybe you’re the one who is willing to go to where the broken are. Jesus didn’t go to the wealthy neighborhoods, he went to the impoverished, the broken (anyone remember the Samaritan woman at the well?).
If you are going to be the healing hands and feet of God, you have to be willing to go to the places other people are not willing to go. You have to know that God goes before you and acts as your rear guard (Isaiah 52:12), so fear cannot be tolerated either. You have to fully submit to the will of God and allow Him to use you.
And for the one who feels like I felt, like you can never be used by God, I am here to tell you, He created you for a purpose. And he CAN use you. Are you willing? Then get up and dust yourself off, friend...it’s time to get moving! The kingdom of God is at hand! 💛💞
Day 16
Daily Reading: Matthew 10:7-8
Go and announce to them that the Kingdom of Heaven is near. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received!
Insight: It’s funny, how God works. If you remember, yesterday I told you all that the kingdom of God is at hand, and here we are studying this verse today. Nothing like divine appointment to confirm that you are exactly where you should be, doing what you should be to let you know that you are both seen and loved by our Almighty Father. 🥰
That love that Jesus pours out on us, we are to take that to the sick, the homeless, the broken, and the lost. He gave it to us freely and we were given the Holy Spirit to be able to truly be the hands and feet of Jesus...to bring healing. Sometimes, someone may be in need of physical healing, sometimes it may be emotional, or mental, or even spiritual.
But you were not given the Holy Spirit to just sit on it. You were given it so that the Spirit of God could both do a good work IN & THROUGH you! We are all needed for the kingdom! Don’t let the enemy tell you that the gift God gave you is not important. You are a warrior for Christ and God has a purpose and plan for your life. You are a child of God and through fasting and prayer, you too can bring healing and light up the darkness! 💜💖
Day 17
Daily Reading: Luke 6:20-23
Then Jesus turned to his disciples and said, “God blesses you who are poor, for the Kingdom of God is yours. God blesses you who are hungry now, for you will be satisfied. God blesses you who weep now, for in due time you will laugh. What blessings await you when people hate you and exclude you and mock you and curse you as evil because you follow the Son of Man. When that happens, be happy! Yes, leap for joy! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, their ancestors treated the ancient prophets that same way.
Insight: Some of us simply won’t receive full healing until we leave this Earth. I know, it’s a hard pill to swallow. For many years, I wondered why I had to walk certain roads in life. While my body looks normal, panic disorder and anxiety run in my family.
I have asked God for something BIG. I want Him to break this generational curse! I am believing that God can do this and as I seek alignment with the Father, I remember that even if I struggle with panic attacks until the day I die, He is still good and sovereign. It just means it is to serve as a testimony to the goodness of God and be used for His glory in this life.
It may not be in my time, but God IS a God that heals and I know that if I do not get healed here, I will receive healing in Heaven.
Many of us allow the enemy or our own minds to beat us up and tell us we will never be whole...what a LIE! God loves you, even with your flaws, and one day, there will be no more hurt, no more tears...just joy! 🙌💃💓
Day 18
Daily Reading: Luke 17:15-19
One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, “Praise God!” He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking him for what he had done. This man was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” And Jesus said to the man, “Stand up and go. Your faith has healed you.”
Insight: “...Your faith has healed you.” I remember laying hands on my husband in the hospital last year. God told me that I needed to lay hands on him and pray loud enough for him to hear me and declare the healing that was going to take place. It didn’t make sense to me then. I kept thinking, how do I pray in front of him (at the time we were not married yet and didn’t pray together)? I was afraid, to be honest, because I felt vulnerable. However, I did as I was told. I prayed for him, began speaking in tongues and declared that he would be leaving in 2 days.
My husband recently confided in me that it was that moment that He was about to give up. He had come close to believing the lies of the enemy, that God didn’t love him, that God didn’t care that he was hurting, and countless other lies. But God...He knew that my husband needed to hear those words of life. He says that in the moment that I laid my hands on him, the love of Christ swept over him like a warm blanket; that moment was when he knew God was speaking to him and He was using me to do it. It was also the pivotal point in which everything began to turn around.
Sometimes, all we need is a little faith, just the size of a mustard seed (Matthew 17:20). I didn’t know that my actions would give him the hope to continue his fight. I didn’t know that God was using my words to speak life into him.
For those waiting on their healing, fighting through pain, trying to decipher truth from a lie from the enemy, fighting through fatigue, fighting through fear, KEEP FIGHTING! God is with you! He will NEVER fail you! Your healing is coming...stay faithful! And I'm praising Him in advance! 🙌💕💃
Day 19
Daily Reading: Jeremiah 17:14
O Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed; if you save me, I will be truly saved. My praises are for you alone!
Insight: Before Jesus was born, we have this word “if.” “...IF you heal me...IF you save me…” Some of you are still praying “if” when you should be declaring it so!
The Bible says, “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5) There is no longer doubt as to whether we can be healed or not; that’s what Jesus bore the brunt of our sin for; in addition to spending eternity with him, he died so that we may leave the past behind and find healing.
I think the thing we struggle with more is forgiving ourselves. We believe God can forgive us (or maybe we don’t at first, or am I the only one who struggled here at some point or another?), but then we continue on our journey beating ourselves up, so much so, that the enemy need not attack because we do a well enough job of that ourselves.
Listen friend, if God wanted to condemn you, He would have left the law intact. What He wants more than anything is to save you and through that, you will find the ultimate healing! After all, the moment we accept Christ, He begins making us a new creation.💓
Day 20
Daily Reading: Psalms 107:20
He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death.
Insight: God’s word...it holds more power than I think many of us realize. After all, it doesn’t return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11). Think about that...He can literally only speak truth because what He says is done, period. But there’s more to this…
The verse is actually speaking about the Living Word of God, AKA: Jesus. Jesus was God’s word turned flesh. He was sent here to save each and every one of us, no matter the depravity of the situation in which we currently sit. He is free of judgement, full of mercy and ready to bring healing to your soul. That’s great news too, because if the well that springs up inside you comes from Christ, you will never thirst again! 💖💜
Day 21
Daily Reading: Genesis 20:17
Then Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech, his wife, and his female servants, so they could have children.
Insight: Do you believe that God hears your prayers? Or do you think he’s got some call center filled with angels just taking messages and passing memos? Listen to me friend, God loves you. He loves you so much that when you begin to open your mouth and speak to Him, He stops what He’s doing to listen.
And guess what else, because of who He is, He could literally listen to every single person praying on Earth at the same time and give just as much attention to each and every one of us. I know, it’s hard to fathom the omnipresence, omniscience, and omnipotence of God, but that’s who He is.
So, what’s stopping you for believing in your healing today? Have you quit praying? Do you still have faith? Reach out to the Lord, He’s waiting, patiently...just like the gentleman He is. 💕🙌
Day 22
Daily Reading: Psalms 6:2
Have compassion on me, Lord, for I am weak. Heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony.
Insight: Jesus...so many times the Bible says he had compassion on people. I am instantly reminded of when he had compassion for the weeping woman (Luke 7:13), or when he fed the crowd that had been following him and listening to his teachings for three days (Matthew 15:32), or when he healed the entire crowd because he felt compassion (Matthew 14:14).
There’s no doubt about it, Jesus draws near to the broken hearted (Psalm 34:18). Compassion and love are the echos of his ministry here on earth. For those in agony today, I am praying for you...may God heal all your agonies, whether they be physical, emotional or spiritual.🙏🙏💛❤️
Day 23
Daily Reading: 2 Chronicles 7:14
Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.
Insight: Humility, it goes a long way with God. With Him, it’s all about heart posture. He’s not looking for perfection, just your obedience. Will you trust Him? Are you listening for Him? Do you have faith? Are you willing to turn your life around and be the hands and feet of Jesus, turning from your wicked ways? Then, there’s good news for you...👆👆👆👆❤️
Day 24
Daily Reading: Isaiah 41:10
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
Insight: I don’t know about you, but I’m excited this morning. No matter what happens, we are being held by The Father. His omnipotent hand upholds us. He encourages us to let go of fear and trust Him. And we really have no reason not to believe Him, He ALWAYS keeps His word! Let His words encourage you this morning. After all, He truly says it best!
If you are weak, make this verse your prayer today and watch how quickly Our Healer comes to give you strength today! 💙💜💞
Day 25
Daily Reading: Luke 5:29-32
Later, Levi held a banquet in his home with Jesus as the guest of honor. Many of Levi’s fellow tax collectors and other guests also ate with them. But the Pharisees and their teachers of religious law complained bitterly to Jesus’ disciples, “Why do you eat and drink with such scum?” Jesus answered them, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent.”
Insight: I touched on this before...Jesus did not come for the well, He came for the sick. He came to bring healing, but He doesn’t just want to heal your ailments, He wants to heal your heart. He doesn’t want you to have to struggle with the flesh. It’s why He tells us to come to him when we are burdened or weary, and he will give us rest (Matthew 11:28-30), or that his strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We are not supposed to be living this life alone. God knows our struggles, it’s why he sent his son, so that while we struggle to become more like Christ, we are washed in his blood and seen just as sanctified as he. That’s the gift of grace and it is available to all who are willing to accept it. You can’t change overnight and God doesn’t expect you to. That’s why he used a woman like Rahab, a manipulator like Joseph, a murderer like Moses and it’s how He can use you to.
Jesus can bring healing, but first, you have to believe that He died for you.❤️🙏💕
Day 26
Daily Reading: Matthew 8:2-3
Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached him and knelt before him. “Lord,” the man said, “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.” Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared.
Insight: How many of believe that our healing can come in an instant? The Bible says in our daily reading that “...instantly the leprosy disappeared.” Am I the only one sitting in awe of Christ’s power this morning?
There isn’t much that happens instantly in today’s day and age, except maybe our money taken out of our bank accounts when we pay bills , but I believe God brings healing in an instant because I’ve seen it (many of you know of my husband’s testimony from my share earlier in this month’s reading)! It doesn’t happen every single time, but it is capable of happening and God’s word reminds us of this.
For those who are looking for instant healing and have not received it yet, please don’t get discouraged, not all healing is instant. Many of us experience gradual healing! Simply put, don’t discount God’s healing power just because it isn’t happening in your time. Our God is a faithful Father and maybe, just maybe, your healing hasn’t come because the Lord is building your testimony. However, we can praise Him in advance for doing so. So rather than be discouraged, praise Him and thank Him now for the healing to come! 🙌💃🙌❤️
Day 27

Daily Reading: Isaiah 57:18-19
I have seen what they do, but I will heal them anyway! I will lead them. I will comfort those who mourn, bringing words of praise to their lips. May they have abundant peace, both near and far,” says the Lord, who heals them.
Insight: How awesome and loving is our God that even though we were sinners, He forgives us and brings healing?! See friends, though healing is mentioned here, it is actually referring to the healing of our flesh/sin nature and speaks of bringing us back to the Father.
Many of us struggle with shame upon coming back to the Lord, or coming to know Him for the first time, and this verse touches on that, “I will comfort those who mourn.” I’m sure I’m not the only person who struggled with forgiving myself for all my sinful ways, but thankfully, sweet Jesus offered encouragement and comfort during those times. So, while at first I didn’t believe I was worthy of praising God, eventually, I was able to praise him with dedication as well as sacrificially.
Don’t let the devil steal your joy today. Continue to praise God today for what He is doing in your life, whether you are where you thought you would be or not! Remember friends, we know that God uses all things for the good of those that love Him (Romans 8:28) and nothing can separate us from the love of the Father (Romans 8:38-39)! 🙌💙💜❤️🙌
Day 28
Daily Reading: Mark 11:23
I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.
Insight: Do you really believe God loves you? Do you believe that He would move a mountain on your behalf? Would you believe me if I told you that, more than likely, He already has? Many of may not even know how many times Christ has made an intercession on our behalf (just like Moses and Aaron on behalf of the Israelites), how many times he has saved us from death, but many of us do and praise him for it.
Today, take a moment to think of where you would be if God had not picked you up from those drowning waters, where you would be if you decided to listen to the enemy the last time he lied to you and told you that God didn’t love or care about you. The Bible warns us to extinguish those flaming arrows of the evil one (Ephesians 6:16) using our faith. So, what is it that’s stopping you from thanking God in advance for the healing He is bringing? Do you not believe big enough? There’s good news, friend...you only need the faith of a mustard seed! 💃🙌💕
Day 29
Daily Reading: 2 Kings 5:10
But Elisha sent a messenger out to him with this message: “Go and wash yourself seven times in the Jordan River. Then your skin will be restored, and you will be healed of your leprosy.”
Insight: Many of us wanting healing and are praying, praising and fighting every way we can in hopes that God will hear our cries, but what if He has already heard you and requested you to do something in order to receive it? This was the case for Naaman. He was told to go wash himself seven times in a river that, if I can put this frankly, would have looked like it was far from healing waters.
Has God placed a desire in your heart? Have you considered that your healing may be attached to you fulfilling that desire on His behalf? I think that’s something we can all take a moment to think about and allow the Holy Spirit to speak to us concerning.🤔🙏🙌💖
Day 30
Daily Reading: Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you…"
Insight: Did you know that your worship brings blessing? How ‘bout removing sickness? That’s what the Bible says, “I will take away sickness from among you…”
I don’t know about you, but this reading has been such a blessing to my life this month. As so many of you are in need of healing, I hope this has brought some joy and hope back into your life, and it is my prayer that it has helped you as much, if not more, than it has helped me.
God is so good! Before this month began, when I was deciding what to focus on for the month of March, the Lord led me here. I didn’t understand why, but I do now and I hope you do too.
For those still searching for healing...thank the Lord as if it is already done. I assure you, you will receive. He cannot lie, so if His Word says it, it is so. Don’t let the negative thoughts enter your mind. Take them captive (2 Corinthians 10:5)! Most importantly, trust in the Lord and don’t give up on God...He doesn’t give up on us! He’s always chasing, always pursuing, always loving, always working for our good, always healing....always. ❣️💗💞💛
Day 31
Daily Reading: Isaiah 38:20
Think of it—the Lord is ready to heal me! I will sing his praises with instruments every day of my life in the Temple of the Lord.
Insight: I don’t know about you but I am excited this morning. I am excited to hear of your testimonies from dedicating just a portion of your day to God through these readings. Do you have a testimony you would like to share with us? If so, please do so below!🥰 If not, can we just use this thread to offer our praises to God today? Let’s use our social media platforms to praise God for His healing of our lives today!🙌🙌💖
As we pursue righteousness and healing with an understanding of who God is, let us give Him praise for the grace and mercy He pours out onto us so generously! We don’t deserve it, we fall short, we aren’t perfect, but He loves us anyway. And with over 250 promises in the Bible, you better believe He has blessings in store for us (1 Corinthians 2:9)!😇💕
