Daily Verse: For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”
☆ Matthew 18:20 NLT

💚 Let's Talk About It: Isn't it refreshing to know that Jesus shows up and it doesn't have to be a huge group of us gathering in order for Him to do so?

I mean, in today's day and age, there are certain celebrities that won't even appear for a show unless they sell so many seats in the stadium.

But God...He is not afraid to go after the one, and as Christ says, there only have to be two in agreement and He is there in the midst.

The more I learn about the Godhead, the more I realize how He is nearly completely opposite of everything that is in the world.

This verse is also reassuring to me because I don't have to be at a mega church filled with 25,000 people to encounter the Living God! Hallelujah! I just have to be with one other person who is following Christ.

That's powerful! In a world in which numbers matter, statistics matter, the more the better, etc. it's nice to know that in order to have intimacy with Christ, there doesn't have to be hundred, thousands, or millions of us gathered together. No, with God, all that is needed is just two or three.

I want to challenge you today to try to plan a time for you and a couple of your Christian friends to meet for fellowship. Then pay attention to how Jesus enters that fellowship and how He moves in each of you accordingly. God is good, and He is faithful!

🤍 Prayer: Father God, I give You praise for all that You do, even that which I do not know of consciously. Lord, You are so good and I am so happy to be called according to your purpose. Thank You, Jesus, for meeting with me in intimacy. Thank You Lord for always going after the one and for teaching me humility. Lord, I want to be Your hands and feet. I pray Your will be done, Father, on earth as it is in Heaven. I love You God, and thank You for Your precious Holy Spirit. In Jesus name I pray and give thanks, amen.
