Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "I Look To You" by Stars Go Dim. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!

💚 Daily Verse: Teach me how to live, O Lord. Lead me along the right path, for my enemies are waiting for me.
☆ Psalms 27:11 NLT

🧡 Let's Talk About It: If we live life on our own accord, we are not living. This is the case for many of us, not all, but many. We don't know how to do God's will as we focus on serving ourselves.

For years, when I was struggling as a single mom, I did my best to become financially stable and secure. Funny enough, as soon as I was off of food stamps and government assistance, Jesus found me and I began serving Him.

One of the first things He asked me to do in order to walk in obedience was leave that job-that self-sufficient life.

I didn't understand it then, but I get it now. I was finally in a place of self-sufficiency, but God wanted me reliant of Him for all things, not what I could do myself.

So, as I said goodbye to that old life, I began walking on the right path. Again, I wouldn't have told you that then, I wasn't even sure what I was doing then, but looking back, I can see clearly that is what God was directing me to.

We all have an enemy and I don't want to spend time glorifying him so I'll say this quickly; he wants us to deviate from the path God has for us and he is willing to go to any length to ensure that happens. However, we are called to walk along the right path and the only way to do that is to allow the Lord to teach us how to live!

It's the doctrine of Christ that we hold fast to - love, humility, and service to others.

What area could you use some help in walking the right path? I encourage you to call out to the Holy Spirit and ask for Him to teach you. Then dig in to your Bible and let God's sweet Word saturate your soul so that you too may walk the path of righteousness.

💙 Prayer: Father, I am so grateful that You called me out of the darkness and in to Your marvelous light. There is none like You God and I am so grateful that You chose me to be of service to Your kingdom. Lord, God, help me to see the areas in my life where I could use more of Your teaching in order that I may stay on the right path. Lord, I spent many years living for myself, but I want to live for You now. Help me to be Your hands and feet, Jesus. Holy Spirit, lead me where I should be when I should be there. Thank You God, for hearing my prayers and meeting with me now. I give You all the praise forevermore in Jesus mighty name, amen.
