💛 Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "My Worship" by Phil Thompson. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!

🧡 Daily Verse: Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!
☆ Habakkuk 3:17‭-‬18 NLT

Let's Talk About It: Our circumstances shouldn't control our ability or desire to worship God.

Many people have no problem serving the Lord when everything is going great in life, but as soon as trouble erupts they run for the hills. I should know...I used to be one of those people.

Now, however, I have learned that running to God is the answer to my problems, not running from Him. So, when I find myself in a desperate or troubling situation, I go to Him in worship.

Worship is such a big part of my life. Sometimes I sit in silence and worship, waiting in the solitude to hear the voice of the Father. At other times I immerse myself in worship music and sing.

Recently I have discovered praise dance, and so at other times, I turn the music up and dance around my bedroom or living room. And finally, I also worship through art. I play worship music, pray, and let the Holy Spirit know He is in control and can do as He wishes. The canvas is all His. This is how my paintings come to be.

There are many forms of worship, and the point of this devotional today is to encourage you to just spend a moment seeking the face of God. Doing so in the morning can change your whole day, and doing so at night can help you rest easy.

So, what are you waiting for? No one can worship Him for you. I promise, God is eagerly waiting to hear you make a joyful noise!

💚 Prayer: Father God, I thank You for this gentle reminder that You adore my worship. Lord, forgive me for not spending more time in worship of You. You deserve all the glory and honor forevermore. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for helping me to worship in spirit and truth. Lord, as the song says, "I will not be silent. I will always worship You. As long as I am breathing, I will always worship You." Thank You for reminding me that You are ultimately all I need. I love You Jesus and in Your mighty name I pray, amen.
