❤ Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "I'm Gonna Let It Go" by Jason Gray. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!
💙 Daily Verse: The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.
☆ Psalms 37:23 NLT
💜 Let's Talk About It: Did you know that God delights in every detail of your life? Yes, friend, He does!
Not only that, but He wants to be included in every detail as well. I don't know about you, but when I allow God to direct my steps, He guides me throughout all situations-even the ones I always think He will frown upon, be disappointed with, etc.
The Living God we serve is a God that is generous to provide grace and mercy. While He doesn't condone sin, if we approach Him with a repentant heart, He is quick to forgive. As the Word says, His mercies are new every morning. And this does not give us permission to sin, it opens the door and gives us a way out.
And as I stated before, He loves to be included. I remember one time in particular, my husband and I were in the store, I believe it was Lowes, looking for for a specific section. So, I asked the Holy Spirit to direct me. And guess what...He led me straight to the item we were looking for!
If we are willing to surrender, God is willing to direct our steps, but He is a gentleman. He will not strong-arm you into submission like a UFC fighter. No, He will open doors and provide blessings and opportunities in an effort to get you to notice His efforts.
So, I guess the only thing left is a couple questions. Have you fully surrendered to God and if not, why?
💛 Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank You that You take care of the big details in life as well as the small details. I thank You, Father, that my life matters to You and that when I walk in Your ways, there are blessings that flow to me due to your New Covenant promises. Thank You Jesus for being my arbitrator and mediator. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for directing my steps and leading me on the path of life. Without You, God, I do not know what I would do. I would probably still be drowning in sin. But thankfully, God, You saved me and You care enough to ensure I continue on the path of righteousness. May Your will be done God. I give You all the praise in Jesus name, amen.
