💙 Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "Broken Vessels (Amazing Grace)" by Hillsong Worship. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!

🧡 Daily Verse: I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.
Isaiah 42:16 NIV

💜 Let's Talk About It: So many amazing promises here in this scripture! It's hard for me to know which direction to take this. 😊

First, if you're like me, you went and read this verse in all your favorite translations (or maybe not, and that's quite alright too😊).

When I read the MSG translation (it's not an actual translation but more of a paraphrase), I just love what it said so I'm going to include it. "...But I’ll take the hand of those who don’t know the way, who can’t see where they’re going. I’ll be a personal guide to them, directing them through unknown country. I’ll be right there to show them what roads to take, make sure they don’t fall into the ditch. These are the things I’ll be doing for them— sticking with them, not leaving them for a minute (Isaiah 42:10‭-‬16 MSG)."

"A personal guide" ... I just love the way that sounds. To me, that's the greatest promise here; that the God of all creation wants to be my personal guide. And yours too! That's another great thing about God, we're all His favorites!🙌🏻

I don't know what surmountable obstacle you face today, friend, but I do know the One who does. And I do know that not only does His Word tell us He's our personal guide, but my own life experiences can testify to that as well.

Have you surrendered your life to Jesus completely? There's only one way to make God your guide and that is to accept that Jesus is His Son who bore our sins and died on the Cross, then was raised to life again before ascending to heaven. Then, you must pray a prayer of repentance, apologizing for your sins and then make the decision to turn away from them (and continue to do this as temptations emerge).

It all begins with trusting God's Word. So, friend, do you trust Him to keep His Word? The truth is, whether you trust Him or not, He's gonna keep His word because that's who He is. You can be on the receiving end of blessings and promises, but only if you are willing to make Him Lord of your life.

❤ Prayer: Father God, I am so thankful that you walk through life with me day in and day out. I am grateful Jesus, for your laying your life down so that you may become my ultimate guide and teacher. Thank you God for each and every blessing in my life. Thank you for my family, and thank you for the strength to keep moving forward even in the face of fear, doubt, and uncertainty. Lord God, help me to memorize your Word and write it on my heart. Help me to steward that which you give me as to maximize it's potential and return. Lord, like the parable of the talents, help me to increase the seeds you give me and bear forth fruit. For those who are struggling today Lord, I pray that your peace that surpasses all understanding will come forth and wash over them, renewing them and helping them understand how wide and deep your love is for them. I pray, Lord God that Your will be done. I love you Jesus and in your mighty name I pray, amen.
