💙 Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "You Keep Hope Alive" by Mandisa. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!
🧡 Daily Verse: The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.
☆ Psalms 37:23-24 NLT
💜 Let's Talk About It: I don't know about you, but I have a tendency to stumble. When I am left to my own devices, I don't always choose the right path. In fact, many times throughout life, I have chosen the wrong path. Yet and still, God, in His infinite wisdom and immeasurable grace, holds my hand; and though it feels like I'm falling, He stops me...every.single.time.
Even those moments in which I have to endure the consequences I've caused for myself, God intervenes and saves me from the full scale or measure I should have endured.
One example is when I got a DUI at 21. For those who have been reading my devos or following us for any length of time, you know I had an addiction problem at one point in my life. I could have killed someone or myself, but rather, I spent a night in jail, totaled my car, spent thousands on lawyers, fines, probation, classes, outpatient rehab, and lost my ability to drive for a year.
That's grace in action right there, I tell ya!
He saved my life in more ways than one during that season. He set me free from drugs and all a few months before my son was conceived. He knew what was coming.
God ALWAYS knows what's coming!
So, I dare you today to look at a situation God rescued you from. Can you see His saving grace woven throughout it? Can you tell He's kept you from falling?
If so, let me hear a hallellujah!
❤ Prayer: Dear God, thank you for always holding my hand and keeping me from falling. You have saved me more times than I can count. I am so grateful for your grace and mercy. Help me to be a light that shines your light, Jesus. Thank you for answering my prayers, ND giving me the desires of my heart. I am so grateful to be called your child, Father God. May Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. I love you Jesus and in your name I pray, amen.
