❤ Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "Awesome Wonder" by Trent Cory. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!

💚 Daily Verse: He said, “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in his sight, obeying his commands and keeping all his decrees, then I will not make you suffer any of the diseases I sent on the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you.”
☆ Exodus 15:26 NLT

🧡 Let's Talk About It: Here it is, friends...we can either believe the world, or we can believe the Word (God). We can't have it our way with Jesus. He's not Burger King.

Yep, I said, and if my illustration offends you, allow me to apologize in advance, and explain further.

There are certain promises that we receive because if we live them out, they don't bring disaster. Health is one of these areas.

In following God's commands, we should be eating nutritional meals, focused on the content of minerals and vitamins, not flavor. But because many of us are focused on flavors we miss nutrition as what tastes "good" by the world's standard usually doesn't provide much nourishment (candy, cookies, cakes, butter, processed foods, fast food, soda, etc).

We are living creatures that should be eating food that was once alive, not something manufactured in a factory.

I know some of you have checked out, but for those who are still with me, listen, friend, we don't follow God's commands because we have to, but because He knows better than we do and there are unspoken promises contained within those commands that can only be accessed by our obedience.

I know people who have healed themselves from removing processed foods, sugar, and manufactured meals! Daniel fasted on nothing but vegetables and water and was found to be STRONGER (Dan. 1:12-15). This is clearly a fulfillment of the promise given to us above. Jehovah Rapha is the God Who Heals, but sometimes, He uses our free will (in honoring His commands) to bring that healing.

Do you truly see your body as a temple for the Holy Spirit? Are you worshipping God by how you treat it, or have you devalued the gift that is you?

If I'm being honest, I've never placed much emphasis on me, but if I'm gonna work with God, I need to be obedient in ALL facets; and that's choosing nutrition and vitality over quick and effortless. Anything worth having, after all, is worth working hard for.

💛 Prayer: My God, the God of my salvation, thank you. Today, Lord, I thank you for who You are. You are stupendous and awesome. You ARE an Awesome Wonder. I am so thankful for your promises and for you lavishing your love upon me. Jesus, I pray a blessing over every person reading this, for every single person my life touches, I pray that you would open up the floodgates of heaven and bring unexplainable blessings. Thank you for your provision, Lord. And Lord, I ask that you would help us to realize how important what we put in our bodies is. Help us learn how to glorify you through how we treat ourselves, not in a vain way, Lord, but in an honorable and reverential manner. Thank you for your strength Abba daddy, and for healing all ailments in Jesus' mighty name. I love you Jesus and give you all the praise forever and ever, amen.
