Daily Devotional - March 27, 2021
ð Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "Stronger" by Mandisa. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!Â
â€Â Daily Verse: The righteous keep moving forward, and those with clean hands become stronger and stronger.
â Job 17:9 NLT
ð Let's Talk About It: Ever feel like you haven't made it far in your walk with God?
I've been there before a time or two. One of the greatest ways to see how far you've gotten is to look back.
Wait, before you start thinking I mean focusing on your past, let me explain. I am speaking of taking inventory of what God has done in your life.
What healing have you received or have others received through you?
What have you been set free from or have you helped to set others free from?
What truth took root and outgrew a lie or backwards mindset?
What has the Lord done for you?
If, after taking this inventory you are not encouraged, then you may want to check your own walk.
Have you been obedient to the Holy Spirit?
Are you holding on to unforgiveness (this includes forgiving yourself)?
Remember friend, a righteous man falls seven times but gets back up (Prov. 24:16)! We are ALWAYS moving forward if we're following Christ. And He makes us stronger and stronger as we become more and more aligned to His likeness.
ð§¡Â Prayer: Father God, thank you for encouraging me today with all Your past accomplishments in and through my life. Lord, I am a walking testimony of your love and grace. Help me to remember and recall instances where You have come through so I can encourage others around me with stories of Your strength and victory. Lord, You are so amazing and I am so thankful that you would call me friend. Thank you for reminding me of who I am to you-that I am cherished and loved beyond measure. I give you all the praise God and pray Your will be done. Holy Spirit, thank You for guiding me in all truth. I pray a special blessing over each and every person reading this now and the future-open up the windows of heaven and flood them with Your love, God. In Jesus mighty name I pray, amen.
