❤ Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "Same Power" by Jeremy Camp. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!
🧡 Daily Verse: But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.
☆ 1 John 4:4 NLT
💜 Let's Talk About It: Today I want to talk about the Spirit that lives in us. We have been speaking about promises of freedom and authority and dominion and victory and today I want to highlight who makes all of it possible.
We speak alot about the Father, and about Christ Jesus, but many churches not only do not operate in the Spirit but they admonish that gifts of the Spirit are actually gifts of the devil.
Like the Sadducees and Pharisees, they are blinded and believe the Holy Spirit to no longer be in operation.
While I respect everyone's opinion. The truth of the Word of God explains the Spirit's work in great detail.
Paul does much of this throughout the New Testament, explaining how the Spirit works to draw us, as well as sanctify us.
You may remember me saying that we live in the most blessed time in history and that is because we have the precious Holy Spirit walking with us day in and day out. He is guiding us, comforting us, and honestly, doing more than we can comprehend at times.
Like Jesus says, you can't see the wind, but you know it is there, the same is so of the Spirit (John 3:8 [paraphrase]).
He is greater, today friend! As we look forward to next month, we will be diving into Pneumatology (the study of the doctrine of the Holy Spirit)!
💙 Prayer: Father God thank you for your precious Holy Spirit! Thank you for birthing me during this era for a specific purpose. Thank you for my blueprints and DNA makeup that make it possible for me to do what you've only created me for. Thank you, Lord, that I am a new creation in You, and for guiding me day-in and day-out. You are a great God and I am in awe of your mercy. Lord, help me to guide others to your truths and help them see that Your ways are best because you actually care for and love each of us deeply. I love you Lord, and I give you all the glory forever and ever. In Jesus mighty name I pray, amen.
