💜 Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "I Am a Friend of God" by Phillips, Craig & Dean. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!

🧡 Daily Verse: But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.
☆ Romans 5:8‭-‬11 NLT

💚 Let's Talk About It: Praise God! If you've made Jesus Christ your Savior and Lord, you are now considered a friend of God!

Friends, this is HUGE! The God who can speak anything into existence in this universe wants to be your friend.

He wants to sit and fellowship with you and your friends. He wants to enjoy meals with you. He wants to immerse you in who He is so that you may discover who you are.

He wants you to walk in freedom and truth.  He wants you to trust Him, follow Him, and rely on Him for continual cleansing, renewal, healing, and strength.

No longer are we considered enemies of God, praise the Lord, but we are considered His friends! I don't know about you, but that makes me want to shout a praise! Hallelujah!

Hallelujah!

Hallelujah!

💙 Prayer: Thank you, God for calling me friend! Thank you, Lord for freedom from shame and guilt. Thank you for your precious Holy Spirit that guides me. Lord, you are so awesome and wonderful. Thank you for saving me and for cleansing me and for healing me and for renewing me daily. I thank you for what you do, but more importantly I thank you for who you are. Jesus, thank you for reconciling me with God. I love you and pray that you would begin to open my eyes to new things about who you are so I can know you more intimately. I love you Jesus and in your mighty name I pray, amen.
