💛 Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "See The Light" by Hillsong Worship. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!
💚 Daily Verse: Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
☆ Romans 5:1 NLT
🧡 Let's Talk About It: Peace with God...it's something people for millenia have longed for!
Now each and every single one of us have the amazing opportunity to accept the gift of Salvation and have peace with God ourselves.
This opportunity is something that took years, hundreds, even thousands of years to accomplish. It isn't tied to evolution (which is not evidenced in science-but that's a whole different discussion entirely). It is a plan of redemption born at the beginning of Creation.
Those who have come to know Jesus, also come to learn how He was with God in the beginning. As a matter of fact, John says He IS God (John 1:1).
It is only because of God's immense love for us and His unfailing mercy and grace that I can even share this message with you today. I was so destructive when I lived in the world- not just to myself, but to others as well.
I just didn't know any better. I was blind. But praise God, now I see! As the song says, I see the Light!
One of many amazing gifts that accompany Salvation is the peace it brings to the believers life. It is a supernatural peace that surpasses our understanding.
And it is promised to ALL who believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died on the Cross of Calvary and rose 3 days later.
Jesus LIVES! He prays for you, that you would believe. He asks the Father for the opportunity to get to know you- to break through the walls of your heart and pierce the darkness with His light. He is the Light of the World and He wants to be more than just a friend to you, He wants to be your brother.
He is the Prince of Peace, and He gives freely of Himself so that we may experience the fullness of God each and every day of our lives!
Finally, I encourage you today, friend, don't let this opportunity to respond to Jesus pass you by! If you are not currently a believer, repent and be set free! Then, you can experience a peace that surpasses all understanding.
Shalom! Peace be with you today, friend! Hallelujah!
❤ Prayer: Dear God, my heart is filled with worship for you. I am in awe of your splendor. Thank you for choosing me. You could have chosen anyone else, but you chose me to be your child. Thank you for redeeming me, Lord. You did what no one else could do. You took my filthy rags and gave me a beautiful white garmet. And not only do you clothe me in white, but you wash me when I get spots. Thank you for keeping me humble God, knowing it is only through you that I have life. I love you Jesus and I pray that you would help me to shine your light and love others as you love them. Help me to see the hearts of those around me so I may discern their need and speak life into them. I am grateful to serve you, God. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
