💚 Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "There's Nothing That Our God Can't Do" by Passion. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!
💛 Daily Verse: The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.
☆ Psalms 23:1-5 NLT
🧡 Let's Talk About It: I find the song for today perfect for the scripture reading. As I listen to Passion sing, "there's nothing that our God can't do" and read the scriptures that remind me of each and every thing God does for me, I cannot help but praise Him!
Some of the greatest promises for believers are all contained within this psalm. When I feel lonely, I come to this chapter. I also come here when I feel like I am facing extreme difficulty.
Really, it's such a comforting chapter I come here regularly, just to remind myself of whose I am, which in turn, reminds me of who I am.
I am a daughter of God, child of a King, heir to the kingdom and sister to Christ. I am His friend, and He is my intercessor. There is nothing that my Father is not willing to do for me because I do as He pleases rather that what I necessarily want.
And while I find my flesh kicking and screaming at times, I press in and lean on the Lord for strength. In lieu of choosing me, I choose Him; all the while remembering that one day, I will stand before God as He allows me to enter the gates of Heaven.
Do you understand how treasured and loved you are?! If not dear friend, it is my prayer that by the end of this month you will discover what the Word of God has to say about those who choose salvation and become children of God.
💙 Prayer: Dear God, I pray that you would loose the scales off the eyes of those reading this that struggle with seeing themselves as you see them God. Lord, I thank you that you give me shelter and peace-that my rest is found in you. Lord, I pray that you would help strengthen those who are laden with anxiety and worry and thank you for overwhelming your children with joy, peace, and comfort. Thank you for blessings me abundantly. Thank you for giving me gifts that are eternal. Thank you, Holy Spirit for guiding me and being my Comforter. I am so grateful to be called your child, God, and for every promise you've given me to hold on to in the Bible. I love you Jesus, and in your name I pray, amen.
