ð Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "Crowns" by Hillsong Worship. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!Â
ð Daily Verse: Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained by living a godly life.
â Proverbs 16:31 NLT
ð Let's Talk About It: When Moses received the wisdom of God, he was on Mount Sinai. But did you know that when he came down, he had received a head full of grey hair?
Yes, that's right! When he came down, he was a changed person. So, the physical changed due to the spiritual.
He didn't age in years, which would be evidenced in his skin (primarily), but the evidence was in the whitening of his hair. If this was not to be evidence, it would not have been ordained by God relevant enough to mention and include.
Obviously, as the author of the book, Moses wanted to ensure people know that there was a significant change physically due to the incredible amount of wisdom and insight provided to Him personally by God Himself.
This is obviously supernatural...or do you know many people who have their entire head of hair turned grey within the span of 40 days?
Not many people would consider grey hair a blessing as most understand it is something that is given to us all.
While the world will tell you it's a sign of old age, God says it is a crown glory.
So, next time you look in the mirror and see a little white peaking through the strands or maybe even covering your entire head, thank God for your crown of glory! Hallelujah!
â€Â Prayer: Dear God, I thank you for the breath in my lungs and for every ounce of mercy and grace you have poured into my life. I thank you Jesus for being more than a friend, but a brother. Thank you Holy Spirit, for guiding me; for telling me when to stop, and when to go, and when to wait, and when to sow! Thank you God for my crown of glory. While some people may not see their grey hair as wisdom, Lord, I thank you for this revelation. No matter what color my hair, I will serve you with all I am. You are my life, God.. I love you Jesus and in your mighty name I pray, amen.
