💛 Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "Wait Upon the Lord" by Leeland. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!

💜 Daily Verse: Yet I am confident I will see the Lord ’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living. Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.
☆ Psalms 27:13‭-‬14 NLT

🧡 Let's Talk About It: I don't know about you, but for me waiting is just plain difficult. Longsuffering or patience is not my strong suit. It makes sense then, that God would teach me to wait.

There many types of waiting. You can be waiting and yet be distracted. You can be waiting and yet be downcast. You can be waiting and be frustrated. Or you can be waiting and excited about everything the Lord is doing to prepare the way for you.

You can be waiting and excited for what God is teaching you in the waiting season, for your equipping, and for the aspects of ministry He calls you to.

But the catch...the catch is that your flesh (if you're like me) doesn't like to wait. And in our microwave faith society, many of us don't think we should have to.

But again, Jesus is in the waiting. He doesn't leave us just because we're at a point in our walk where He's asked us to stop and smell the roses.

In your season of waiting, praise the Lord, serve the Lord, keep your eyes fixed on the Lord. Pray as He prepares your way.

My husband and I have been preparing to move since November only to be at a point that we are waiting on the Lord. And in prayer the other day I heard the Lord say, I'm working on it, but some of my people are not being obedient. Which leads me to another point...your obedience to God affects more than just you. It affects the people He wants to bless through you.

So, if the Lord says wait, wait. If He says walk, walk. If he says run, run. If he says move, move. But be sure that if you are in a season of waiting you are waiting on the Lord (doing His good works) not for the Lord (sitting idly by)!

Are you in a season of waiting? I dare you to use it to your advantage and glorify God in the midst of it, rather than be frustrated, contemptuous, angry, or impatient. He's taking care of all the details-all you need to do is wait!

💚 Prayer: Dear God, I thank you for your Holy Spirit that directs my path. I thank you for helping me wait with a cheerful heart and a willingness to serve you. God there is none like you and I am grateful to call you Abba (daddy). Lord please help me to walk in your timing and your will. I want to live my life in accordance with you Word, and I thank you for the Advocate that walks with and guides me. I love you Jesus, and I pray that Your will be done God. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
