❤ Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "Forever" by Chris Tomlin. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!
🧡 Daily Verse: Long ago the Lord said to Israel: “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.
☆ Jeremiah 31:3 NLT
💙 Let's Talk About It: "An everlasting love" is something many of us struggle with wrapping our heads around, especially when our world and flesh is filled with conditions.
Unconditional love is something few experience due to the fact that sin entered the world. We live in a fallen place filled with fallen people, and the truth is, the fact that there are any humans walking in love at all on any given moment is testament to God's power.
We don't start out sactified, merely saved. And we have to continue to walk in love, following Christ, in order to endure the process of sanctification. For us, loving God is a choice, but for God, it is who He is.
God IS love.
💛 Prayer: Dear God, there is no other God but you. You are love and you reign! Lord, thank you for allowing me another day to proclaim your good news, to speak hope to the hopeless, and walk in love. Thank you Jesus for taking the penalty for my sin. I love you Lord and am so grateful for your selflessness. Help me to be selfless as you are selfless. Thank you for allowing me to bless others and help build your kingdom. Thank you for teaching me to love as you love. Please forgive me of my sins. Wash me. Cleanse me, and renew me. Give me strength to keep fighting the good fight, God. I love you Jesus and in your mighty name I pray, amen.
