🧡 Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "Love Like Thunder" by Richlin. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!

💙 Daily Verse: My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
☆ Galatians 2:20 NLT

💜 Let's Talk About It: It's ironic that this is the scripture for today. When I approached God with my need yesterday, He reminded me of Gal. 5:17 which explains how the flesh and the Spirit are always at war with each other.

It can be easy to remember that God gave Himself up for me, saved me and is sanctifying me through the work of the Holy Spirit. The difficulty comes when I have to do things that my flesh doesn't want to do. Am I the only one who struggles with this?

Sometimes we may not even be realize it is happening either. For instance, yesterday I was battling emotions all over the place that were uncontrollable. However, God spoke to me in that place and showed me, what I was witnessing first hand in myself was the battle between the flesh and the Spirit.

Our flesh will do everything in its power to stay in a comfortable place where we don't have to step out of our comfort zone or out into the unknown for God.

Remember, we died the moment we accepted Christ, now our journey is filled with adventures that help us discover who we are in Christ and how He will work in and through us for the glory of God! God loves us and He is working in and through us, and no matter what the world, or the flesh says, that is ALWAYS the case.

Jesus loves you friend, and that will never end!

❀ Prayer: Dear God, I am so thankful for your unending mercy and grace! You are a good God who is my Guide, my Strength, and my Master. Thank you for teaching me how to recognize the battle between the flesh and the Spirit and thank you for reminding me of your love. May my life be a sacrifice for YOUR glory, God. Thank you for never leaving me, Jesus, for sticking closer than a brother, and thank you for reassuring me that I am Yours. I love you Jesus and it is in your name I pray and give thanks, amen.
