💜 Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "God is Love" by Chris Renzema. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!
💛 Daily Verse: For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”
☆ Zephaniah 3:17 NLT
💙 Let's Talk About It: If you're close to me, you know I deal with phobias. You know that before I got chickens, I was unwilling to go outside in my back yard due to fear. You know that this is nothing new and has been with me for as long as I remember.
However, this past Sunday, as Pastor was preaching, I decided I didn't want to be in bed with fear anymore. The pastors prayed for me and I denounced all fear.
This verse is what I've clung to, and will continue to cling to, when fear rears it's ugly head.
The thought of my Jesus singing songs over me gives me strength, and as His love fills my heart, it casts out all fear.
I don't know who else needs this reminder, but you don't have to continue to live in fear. There is freedom in Christ Jesus!
💚 Prayer: Dear Jesus, thank you for singing songs of joy over me, and thank you for your powerful love that casts out fear. Thank you showering me with grace and mercy. Please forgive me for my sin. I repent for allowing fear to stop me from walking in freedom. Thank you for giving me grace to forgive myself and move forward in freedom. You are a good God, and I am grateful for each and every blessing on my life. I love you Jesus, and in your name I pray, amen.
