💙 Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "One Thing Remains" by Passion. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!

💛 Daily Verse: But you, O Lord, are a God of compassion and mercy, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.
☆ Psalms 86:15 NLT

💚 Let's Talk About It: Mercy...it is something we should all be willing to walk in more often.

The Bible says love covers a multitude of sins, and for good reason. It is only because of God's love that any of us are here today, saved and able to celebrate the sanctification process.

We are called to love God and love others. This means being slow to anger. Sure, people can be downright hurtful at times, but that doesn't give us the right to judge them, come to our own conclusion, and point out their faults.

Remember friend, the fruit of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

This daily verse illustrates God as having five of the fruit (gentleness, kindness, patience, love, and faithfulness) and gives us all a beautiful example to follow.

❤ Prayer: Dear God, thank you for loving me with unfailing love. I thank you that you are slow to anger, faithful and filled with compassion and mercy. Jesus, I am so grateful for your blood that redeems me, heals me, purifies me, and for your precious Holy Spirit that works to regenerate and sanctify me. Father, I pray that Your will be done. Thank you, Holy Spirit for guiding me throughout my day. Please help me to be compassionate and merciful as you, slow to anger and filled with love. I thank you for it, Lord. I love you, Jesus, and in your mighty name I pray, amen.
