Daily Devotional - February 10, 2021
ð Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "I Look to You" by Stars Go Dim. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!
â€Â Daily Verse: But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by Godâs grace that you have been saved!)
â Ephesians 2:4â-â¬5 NLT
ð Let's Talk About It: Like the song says, we must look to God if we are seeking a way out.
A way out of what, you may ask?
Depression, anxiety, loneliness, grief, addiction, suicidal thoughts, anger, pride, shall I keep going?
If you are looking for a way...a way out, or even a way in...Christ is the answer. It is only through God's grace that any of us have been saved.
You have the opportunity today to give your heart to Jesus. Some of you may de doing it for the first time, others may have been making that commitment and confession daily for years.
Where ever you are in your walk today, friend, remember, Jesus loves you. You are not alone!
ð Prayer: Dear God, I am so grateful that you made a way for me. Even before I knew you, you knew me. Thank you for never giving up on me and for making a way out of no way. There is no other God but you, Lord and you deserve all the glory. Thank you, Jesus for your love and devotion. You stick closer than a brother and I am thankful for the ability to walk with you through life. I repent of my sins, God, and ask that you give me the strength to walk in love and love others even when it's difficult, and even when it hurts me. I love you Jesus and submit my life to you as a living sacrifice. May Your will be done, Father. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
