🧔 Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "Champion" by Bethel Music. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!

ā¤ Daily Verse: Submit to God’s royal son, or he will become angry, and you will be destroyed in the midst of all your activities— for his anger flares up in an instant. But what joy for all who take refuge in him!
ā˜† Psalms 2:12 NLT

šŸ’œ Let's Talk About It: The second psalm is the first Messianic Psalm. This last verse makes it clear, but there are a couple others that point to this (like verse 7).

In its entirety, we can see it begins by speaking about David but ends talking about Jesus, and how at some point, every nation will submit to Him one way or another (whether it be through worship and adoration or reverence and fear).

I am convinced this is how Christ chases each of us down.. Relentless in His pursuit, He comes in full force and filled with passion. He is not concerned what aspects of our lives He needs to turn upside down to grab our attention. When our soul is at stake, He will strip away everything it takes to get us to see that He is the way, the truth, and the life.

Some of us spend so much time running from this decision because we think we have to change who we are; hat we have to be clean, and put together to be loved by Christ. The truth is, we will never be clean until He washes us white as snow and without Him, we stand no chance at getting ourselves together. All of us are searching for something, except for those of us who have found Him.

Notice I didn't say "it". Our flesh will lie to us and make us believe that which we seek is tangible and can be found here in this world. While that may have been so for the disciples, it is unfortunately not the case for us because Christ has overcome this world.

This, this is why we NEED Jesus. He brings the grace that covers us. He provides the Holy Spirit that changes our heart. I cannot begin to explain how this is possible anymore than I can explain in explicit detail the mechanisms by which God created earth. This dear friend, is our first step of faith as believers...believing in the life saving power of Jesus Christ! It's from that moment that He starts changing our heart, if we let Him.

šŸ’› Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for today. Thank you for loving me like only you can, and for giving me the opportunity to live another day here in this beautiful place you made. I am so grateful to you Jesus, for you have changed my life. Help me to love people as you love them and see them as you see them, Lord. I surrender to you and your will and pray that your will God, would be done on earth as it is in heaven. Thank you for protecting me and my family, for healing us, and for always providing fir our needs. You are my everything. I love you, Jesus, and in your name I pray, amen.
