๐ Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "Multiplied" by NEEDTOBREATHE. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!
๐งก Daily Verse: But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
โ Romans 5:8 NLT
๐ Let's Talk About It: Have you ever known someone to sacrifice their child for a stranger?
If you've ever questioned God and His motives, allow the understanding of His willingness to sacrifice His son sink in for a moment.
Christ's willingness, as King, to lay down His crown in order to live among us, mere peasants, indicates His willingness to share in our sufferings.
He was not satisfied merely creating us. He wants to spend eternity with us, and was willing to lay down His life as a sacrifice in order that we might know Him intimately.
So, if you ever get into the mindset of believing Christ doesn't understand your situation, remember, He was falsely accused, betrayed by a close friend, spat on, beaten, tortured, and crucified.
He took all of that punishment because He loves us and was unwilling to see any of us endure eternal suffering.
He loves YOU. Completely. Just the way you are.
โค Prayer: Jesus, thank you for laying down your crown as the King of Glory to save me from myself. Thank you for never giving up on me, and for forgiving every sin in my life. I am so grateful for your gift of Salvation and for your precious Holy Spirit. Thank you Father, for your amazing plan of redemption. I love you, Jesus, and give you all the honor and praise! In Jesus name I pray, amen.
