💛 Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "Spirit of the Living God" by Vertical Worship. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!

💚 Daily Verse: But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.
☆ John 15:26

💙 Let's Talk About It: The Comforter... did you know the Holy Spirit has different names just like God the Father and Jesus? That's right!

First, it's important to understand the Holy Spirit is the 3rd person of the Trinity. He is a He and not an it. Some people believe Him to be a force, but He is more than energy. He is a part of the Godhead. He speaks, teaches, testifies, and more. The Bible is clear about the personhood of the Holy Spirit.

Some of the other names He goes by are:
⭐ Spirit of God (Exodus 31:3 NIV)
⭐ Spirit of Wisdom & Understanding (Isaiah 11:12 NIV)
⭐ Spirit of God (Isaiah 61:1 ESV)
⭐ Spirit of Christ (Romans 8:9 NIV)
⭐ Spirit of Truth (John 16:13 NIV)
⭐ Spirit of Life (Romans 8:2 NKJV)
⭐ Spirit of the living God (2 Corinthians 3:3 NLT)
⭐ The Counselor (John 14:26-28 RSV)

Did you know the Holy Spirit has so many names? Which is your favorite to use?

❤ Prayer: First and foremost, I want to thank You, Father God, for sending Your Son, Jesus here to this fallen world to save and redeem me. I truly thank You oh Heavenly Father, for I see how much You truly love me and desire for me to dwell with You forever in Your house. I thank You, King Jesus, for Your new mercies everyday, for the grace You give and show me daily, and for Your truths and promises. Though You came into this world in the physical and left to be seated at the right hand of The Father, You did not leave me without a way to carry on in this world. Thank You for the Counselor (Holy Spirit), Who was sent to help me and as Your words says, will be with me forever. Though I may forget and at times appear to be surrounded by the enemy, You, Holy Spirit, remind me of the truths of my Lord and Savior, and bring me comfort. Thank You, Jesus, for Your faithfulness. All praises and glory be unto You. In Jesus name I give thanks and praise, Amen.
