💛 Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "Spirit Break Out" by Kim Walker-Smith. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!

💚 Daily Verse: But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit.
☆ 1 Corinthians 2:10‭-‬11 NLT

💙 Let's Talk About It: The Holy Spirit is just as divine as God the Father and Christ Jesus.

We can see this in both the New Testament and Old. This is due to the fact that the Holy Spirit has always been working.

Today's verse expresses and validates the omniscience of the Holy Spirit. He is also omnipotent (Romans 15:19), omnipresent (Psalm 139:7-9) and eternal (Hebrews 9:14).

I don't know about you, but I wasn't always aware of all these qualities concerning the Holy Spirit. The truth is, however, He's been working since Creation and even had a hand in that.

The Holy Spirit also ensures regeneration within the believers heart.

The significance of the deity of the Holy Spirit is that we have a person of the Godhead living within us, showing us the way to go, directing our path, helping to sanctify us and bringing us to the knowledge of God in more intimate ways as we mature in our relationship with Him.

The Holy Spirit is more than simply an invisible force that comes upon us. It is God Himself giving us His Spirit to complete the work that we cannot do on our own (remember it's  salvation by faith not by works).

I am so grateful for the Holy Spirit, especially when I think of what Christ went through for us to be able to have such a gift and guide in life.

❤ Prayer: Dear God, first and foremost, thank You for sending Your Son to die for my sins. Thank You for loving me like no one else can and for giving me Your precious Holy Spirit to guide me and direct me and help me become more like You. On today, this Resurrection Sunday, we thank You, Jesus, for the finished work of the Cross. I am so grateful I do not have to keep the law because, as You know God, I couldn't do it even if I tried my best. I am so grateful for the blood that was shed on Calvary but even more so for the Resurrection as this shows me that I do not have to fear death, for I died years ago. I live for You now, Lord. May Your name, Jesus, be exaulted in all the earth, not just today, but everyday! Lord, I pray Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. I love You Jesus and in Your mighty name I pray, amen.
