💛 Let's Talk About It: We talked about justification by faith yesterday, and I want to build on that just a tad more today.

See, we can't earn our way into heaven, not by any means other than faith. The amount of time we spend volunteering doesn't help. Neither does how often we share the Gospel.

Before someone assumes I'm saying we don't need to volunteer or share the Gospel, that's not what I'm saying at all. What I am saying is that doing those things doesn't earn our way into heaven, but it will ensure there is treasure waiting for us when we get there.

Some denominations believe in justification by works. They believe you have to put in so many hours, or that you must say so many hail Mary's, but such is not the case.

We have been justified. It is finished. We are seen as righteous, praise God! Doesn't that give you a peace that surpasses all understanding?

❤ Prayer: Jesus, thank You for saving me. Thank You for the Cross. Thank You for the gift of faith & for never giving up on me. Lord, I don't deserve to be justified but because of you, Jesus, I am seen as righteous before God. Thank you so much for that! Lord, I pray that You would increase my faith and help me to believe for BIG miracles.  Father, thank You for your sovereign plan of Salvation. Help me to be Your hands and feet, Jesus, and in Your mighty name I pray, amen.
