❤ Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "Gratitude" by Brandon Lake. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!
💛 Daily Verse: In the same way, “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.”
☆ Galatians 3:6 NLT
💚 Let's Talk About It: Justification is the theological term used to describe our relationship with God.
See, as sinners, we cannot adhere to the Law. So how can we declared righteous? Justification is how!
So how are we justified? That's due to faith, the second act of the effectual call we talked about. It is a judicial and legal declaration. It is not an experience.
This declaration comes from heaven (Rom. 8:33-34) and says that in Christ we have perfectly kept what the moral law of God requires of us.
Abraham was counted righteous because He believed God. So, my question to you is, do you believe God?
Do you believe He sent His Son to save you?
Do you believe He has your best interests at heart?
Do you believe that He is with you always?
Do you believe you're worth saving, even with your past?
Because the truth is He did, He does, He is, and you are!❤❤❤
💙 Prayer: Dear God, thank You for justifying me. Thank You Jesus, for making a way for me to be justified. Lord, today, I am filled with so much gratitude. You are the King of kings and Lord of Lords. There is none like You and there will never be any like You. You stand alone in glory. Father, I pray that You would embolden me to share your Gospel with more people and with others in the grocery store and when I'm out and about. Holy Spirit, give me the words to share that will speak life into those You send my way. I am so grateful for my relationship with You, God. Thank You for choosing me. I love You Jesus and in Your mighty name I pray, amen.
