🧡 Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend " I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!
💚 Daily Verse: But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.
☆ Philippians 3:20-21 NLT
💙 Let's Talk About It: I know many Christians that believe they will begin learning about Jesus when they get to heaven. However, when we study the Word, we see that we are already seated in heanevly places are citizens of heaven.
The good news is that we don't have to wait. As soon as we ask Christ into our hearts, we can begin walking and talking with Him. As we learn the Word and walk in God's will, we become more like Him.
And at the end, when we are called home, we will look like Him. Our spirit and His Spirit will be one. I'm not sure about you, but this brings such a peace to my soul.
It is an amazing fact, learning we are already citizens of heaven. This, I believe, is why no one can snatch us out Christ's hand, because His Holy Spirit is working in us and we are already there in spirit with Him.
Take heart, today, friend. God is for you and when you are called home to be with the Almighty, you will have a glorious body. There will be no more pain, no more sorrow, no more heartache, no more tears. There will only be fullness of joy and love forevermore.
Can you picture it?! What a day that will be!
❤ Prayer: Dear Father, I thank You for each and every promise in Your Word. I thank You for Your plan of salvation, and for ensuring I am safe from harm and secure in my position. I thank You, Jesus, that I don't have to wait until heaven to get to know You, but that I can walk and talk with You now. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. Help me to love as You love and live as You live, humbling myself to serve others. Allow me to be Your hands and feet, Lord, that my life will be a living testimony of Your love, goodness, and faithfulness. Thank You God, for not just what You do, but for who You are. You alone deserve all the glory! May Your will be done, Abba, on earth as it is in Heaven. I love you Jesus and in Your mighty name I pray, amen.
