Daily Devotional - The Father's House
๐ Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "Keep Me In The Moment" by Jeremy Camp. Why not try asking alexa, siri, or google to play it for you?!
๐ Daily Verse: There is more than enough room in my Fatherโs home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?
โ John 14:2 NLT
โค Let's Talk About It: More than enough room! Now, that should be music to our ears. I know it is to mine. This, to me, is affirmation that God wants each and every one of us to spend eternity with Him.
As more people are birthed into existence, more rooms are added on to the Father's House. Can you picture it? It must be the most amazing home any of us will ever witness. It will put to shame anything man has created, that I am sure of. And the thought of such brings me to a place of such gratefulness and thankfulness, I haven't got time to hate anyone.
If we struggle to love people here, how in the world are we going to love people in heaven when ALL of the believers of Christ are there with us?
If you google, "how many people have existed" the number you get is 107 BILLION. If only 10% of all people that ever existed made it to heaven, that means there's around 10.7 billion in heaven now. There's more people potentially in heaven right now than there is on earth. Like I said, if you don't love people here...how are you going to love people in heaven?
Furthermore, those who detest people now and live for wickedness and evil will find themselves joining the nearly 96.3 billion people in hell.
Now, these are just figurative numbers used to make an analogy, and hopefully, you get the point. People are what matters and loving them is our obligation, but it should be more than that. It should be our desire to love them and see God move in their lives.
There is no race or ethnicity that is off limits in the house of God. It doesn't matter where you were born, what language you speak, the color of your skin...none of that matters. These are worldly issues that are used to divide the Kingdom. We must become mature and begin seeing things for what they are; either that which brings forth love, or that which divides and causes hate.
So, what are you sowing, friend? Remember, that which we sow we shall reap. Even science- the Law of Cause and Effect- backs this up (for any skeptics out there). So, let's sow love and try to fill up as many rooms as possible!๐๐

๐งก Prayer: Dear Father, I am so grateful for another day to experience all you have in store. Today, Lord, I choose to see that which brings forth love and life, everything else is not of you and I will not allow it an opportunity to thrive in my life. Jesus, thank you for steadfastness. You are so faithful and I am so grateful. Help me to love others like you. Teach me to let go of stereotypes, and cultural beliefs that may be divisive or come against your Kingdom agenda of love. I want to glorify you God, use me Lord. Thank you for your protection and favor. I love you Jesus, and in your name I pray, amen.
