Worship: If you'd like to play a song before you begin or while you read, may we recommend "Risen" by Israel Houghton (Hoh-ten).
Daily Verse: All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation,

Let's Talk About It: For many of us, we celebrated the Resurrection of Christ yeaterday. While we were not able to do so in our usual fashion of large gatherings, I am reminded of Christ's small gathering for the Passover meal before His capture.
Hopefully, you all took the opportunity to establish a new tradition. We took communion together and I made a red velvet cake-partly because it's my hubby's fav, but mostly because we wanted to celebrate the blood of Jesus.
As Peter said, we have been shown incredible mercy. Our sins have been forgiven, even those we may not have committed yet. God has a plan for our life. That may not mean we will always have all we want, but it does reassure us that God is control, even when it doesn't always appear that way. And even when we dont necessarily feel it.
JESUS IS ON THRONE! Hallelujah!ππΌππΌ
Additional Reading: But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died.

Prayer: Abba, I thank you for today. You, Father, call the sun out from hiding and bring such beauty to each day. Thank you, Lord, for blessing me and my family with the opportunity to get to know you, for relationship. Lord, there are many who do not yet know you and I want to pray for those lost today. Father, call back your children. Soften their hearts, and make them open to receiving Your Word. I thank you for every soul you will save today Lord. Please continue to provide for those who may have recently lost everything. And thank you for healing those afflicted with covid-19. Jesus, you alone deserve all the glory. I love you Lord, and in your name I pray, amen.
